Simply Having A Wonderful Christmas Time

For what is it worth to recognize your own behavior towards others?

Is it so hard to say thank you? Is it so hard to say the words I'm sorry?

Was your Christmas day filled with reminiscing of great Christmas Days or dealing with aggravations, annoyances, and general pains in the arse?

How many time were you cut off from talking because someone else thought what they had to say was more important that what YOU had to say even when you were speaking first?

How many people you met with told you that YOU were a gift in their life?

How many people asked something of you today and didn't even bother to acknowledge you with a thank you for taking time out of your life to deal with 'my stuff' ?

Was it a day of rejoicing?
 A day of celebration?
Was it a day memories were made that your family, albeit your children, will cherish years from now?

For me?
Not so much!

Finally, after the visitations ended and all the bad experiences of the day were under our belts, I told mom I wanted to change the tone of the day to a positive one.
So, I asked a  maybe not so simple question of her, and now I will ask you:

What is the best Christmas Day memory in your life right now?
(It could change next time I ask, but right off the top of your memory heap.)

 What is that memory?

Share it with me.

I could use some of the good things that make life worth living. :[
